Nairobi National Park is the only park within a city.
This Safari gives every traveler a thrilling adventure they need in the wide-open grass plains bundled with a beautiful view of the Nairobi’s city scrappers.
The Park is located approximately 10km from Nairobi’s CBD. It covers an area of 117.2km sq, 28963 acres in size and consists of the typical, original Kenyan landscape habitats-forests, plains, lush vegetation, steep gorges and Athi River which borders the park in the southern boundary.
Most of the Big Five-Lions, Leopards, Buffalos and Rhinos with the exception of Elephants are on site which gives every traveler a thrilling adventure they need in the wide-open grass plains bundled with a beautiful view of the Nairobi’s city scrappers.
The scattered savannah and acacia bush in the open plans play host to a wide variety of wildlife including Impalas, Buffalos, Lions, Hyenas, Leopards, Crocodiles, Cheetahs, Zebras, Baboons, Hippopotamus, the endangered Black Rhino, Waterbucks, Jackals, Topi, Warthogs, Monkeys and over 400 bird species.
The Park is best known for its Black Rhino Sanctuary which aims at protecting the endangered Black Rhino Species. Nairobi national park is the best place to see the Black Rhino-endangered species in its native and natural environment.
The Park is ideal for families, friends, students, corporates as its open for Game viewing, Weddings, bush dinners and film production.
Game drives can be done either in the morning or in the evening. In the morning, the Big cats-Lions, Cheetahs and Leopards tend to be active by hunting and this will guarantee you breathtaking wild action
After the game drives, you may opt for a sightseeing walk in Nairobi Safari Walk. The driver will then drop you off to your destination-Hotel, Residence or Nairobi CBD.
