The safari begins with a visit to Lake Naivasha one of the famous lakes found on the shores of the Great Rift Valley. Derived from a Maasai name Naiposha which means rough waters. This is because of the afternoon winds and storms that can cause the Lake to produce high storms. Surrounded by a number of forests hence recognized as one of the world-class destinations in terms of birdlife. Your next destination is Lake Nakuru National park, it is well known for its conservation efforts towards the endangered black and white rhinos and the Rothschild giraffe. It’s also renowned for its millions of pink flamingos lining the shores of Lake Nakuru. Your final destination is the Maasai Mara National Reserve is one of the most outstanding reserves in the whole of East Africa and Africa at Large. With the same Ecosystem as the Serengeti National Park, the reserve is characterized by rolling open grassland savannah with patches of distinctive acacia trees.
The reserve hosts the annual spectacular Wildebeest Migration which is one of the “7 wonders of the World”. The migration occurs from late June to late October [depending on the weather patterns]. Apart from the Flora and Fauna, we also have the Maa community who are the major habitats of this beautiful region, on your last day of the safari you can visit their Manyatta and learn more about their ways of living.
You will be met by one of our company representatives at the airport upon your arrival and given a short briefing about the safari ahead thereafter proceed to Lake Naivasha. Arrive at Lake Naivasha for Lunch and a short relaxation.
After lunch proceeds for an afternoon boat ride to Crescent Island.
The Crescent Island is a privately owned Sanctuary offering a home to many wildlife. Guests can have a guided nature walk inside the sanctuary while on foot thus making it a perfect place to see the wild animals while on foot.
Dinner and overnight at Sawela Lodge.
Breakfast at the lodge thereafter check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Along the way, you shall have a crisp view of the rift valley formed as a result of land faulting.
Arrive in time for lunch and check-in at the lodge. After lunch and short relaxation, enjoy an afternoon game drive around the park. Lake Nakuru National Park is among Kenya’s finest national parks. It is well known for its conservation efforts towards the endangered black and white rhinos and the Rothschild giraffe. There are more than 50 different species of mammals including, white rhinos, waterbucks, buffalos, and baboons. It’s also renowned for its millions of pink flamingos lining the shores of Lake Nakuru.

Breakfast at the lodge, check out, and drive to Maasai Mara National Park. Upon arrival check-in thereafter have lunch. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive till sunset.
The Maasai Mara National Reserve is Kenya’s finest wildlife reserve and it shares the same ecosystem with Serengeti National Park. The park is characterized by rolling open grassland savannah with patches of Acacia. From early July all the way to October is the annual Wildebeest Migration every year with over a million Wildebeest this also attracts other wildlife’s like the Zebras, Antelopes, and other wild animals crossing the Mara River into Maasai Mara from Serengeti which is very spectacular. Some of the animal’s present are the big five [Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion, and the Leopard] plain game [includes the wildebeest, Zebras, Topi, Grant’s gazelle just but to mention a few] and abundant birdlife of up to 470 species. The park is also among the seventh wonders of the World because of the Great Annual Migration from July through October every year.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge
Have breakfast and then proceed for a full day game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife reserve, the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The morning and afternoon game drives take you in search of Africa’s Big Five and other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge.
On your final day, you will have breakfast, after breakfast checks out, and drive back to Nairobi with en-route game drives. Upon arrival in Nairobi owe will treat you to a farewell lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant thereafter transfer to the airport for your homebound flight.
