The safari begins with a visit to Lake Naivasha one of the famous lakes found on the shores of the Great Rift Valley. Derived from a Maasai name Naiposha which means rough waters. This is because of the afternoon winds and storms that can cause the Lake to produce high storms. Surrounded by a number of forests hence recognized as one of the world-class destinations in terms of birdlife. Your next destination is Lake Nakuru National park, it is well known for its conservation efforts towards the endangered black and white rhinos and the Rothschild giraffe. It’s also renowned for its millions of pink flamingos lining the shores of Lake Nakuru. Your final destination is the Maasai Mara National Reserve is one of the most outstanding reserves in the whole of East Africa and Africa at Large. With the same Ecosystem as the Serengeti National Park, the reserve is characterized by rolling open grassland savannah with patches of distinctive acacia trees.
