Overview

Your 4 days adventure begins with a visit to Lake Nakuru National park, one of the parks located on the shores of the Great Rift Valley. The park is also known for its haven of Flamingoes that nest on the shore of the Lake due to its quantities of Algae. Your second day safari takes you to the most outstanding park in Africa the Maasai Mara Game Reserve for 2 nights stay exploring this vast destination. On your last day, upon arrival in Nairobi we shall treat to a farewell dinner or lunch depending on your departure details. As they say no Safari is a safari without feasting at the Carnivore Restaurant.

Itinerary/Day to day

Day 1NAIROBI- LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Upon arrival at the airport, our representative will pick you up at the Airport briefed about the safari and thereafter proceed to Nakuru National Park. Along the way you shall have a crisp view of the rift valley formed as result of land faulting.

Arrive in time for lunch and check in at the lodge. After lunch and short relaxation, enjoy an afternoon game drive around the park. Lake Nakuru National Park is among Kenya’s finest national parks. It is well known for its conservation efforts towards the endangered black and white rhinos and the Rothschild giraffe. There are more than 50 different species of mammals including, white rhinos, waterbucks, buffalos, and baboons. It’s also renowned for its millions of pink flamingos lining the shores of Lake Nakuru.

Day 2LAKE NAKURU – MAAASAI MARA NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast at the lodge, check out and drive to Maasai Mara National Park. Along the way you shall have a crisp view of the rift valley formed as result of land faulting.

The Maasai Mara National Reserve is Kenya’s finest wildlife reserve and it shares the same ecosystem with Serengeti National Park. The park is characterized by rolling open grassland savannah with patches of Acacia. From early July all the way to October is the annual Wildebeest Migration every year with over a million Wildebeest this also attracts other wildlife’s like the Zebras, Antelopes, and other wild animals crossing the Mara River into Masai Mara from Serengeti which is very spectacular. Some of the animals’ present are the big five [Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion and the Leopard] plain game [includes the wildebeest, Zebras, Topi, Grant gazelle just but to mention a few] and abundant birdlife of up to 470 species. The park is also among the seventh wonders of the World because of Great Annual Migration from July through October every year.

Day 3MAASAI MARA FULL DAY

Have breakfast and then proceed for a full day game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife reserve, the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The morning and afternoon game drives take you in search of Africa’s Big Five and other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. After your afternoon game drive, you retire to your lodge where you shall have your dinner before heading for overnight

Day 4DEPARTURE

On your final day you will have breakfast, after breakfast check out and drive back to Nairobi with game drives enroute. Upon arrival in Nairobi, on this day we shall treat you to a farewell lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant where you can get to enjoy various game meats thereafter drop you off at the airport   for your flight back home.
