The reserve also boasts of around 500 bird species i.e. The Ostrich, Secretary Bird, Cranes, Eagles, Marabou Stock, Vulture and the big five [Lion, Cape Buffaloes, Rhinos, Leopard & Elephant] just but to mention a few. Apart from the Flora and Fauna, we also have the Maa community who are the major habitants of this beautiful region, on your last day of the safari you can visit their Manyatta and learn more about their ways of living.
